Summary: SoftClouds is looking to hire a candidate to work in the capacity of business development manager to manage companies existing customers and partners.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Candidate must have a proven track record of meeting/exceeding Sales targets in IT solutions area
  • Demonstrated experience of engaging with customer’s senior management
  • Ability to open new enterprise accounts by engaging at senior level
  • Ability to work with inside sales and market team
  • Demonstrated success in winning new business
  • Has sold IT Solutions incorporating services
  • Managed Large Enterprise and/or Service Provider customers
  • Manage portfolio of existing customers and partners
  • Engage in pre-sales activities
  • Follow up on new sales leads to develop
  • RFP responses
  • Develop custom solution proposals
  • Customize sales presentations to present to prospective customers
  • Develop Strategic Alliances in the target territory
  • Liaising with the delivery team along with the customers to ascertain timely and satisfactory delivery.
  • Meet sales target
  • Understand customer pain points and be able to provide appropriate solution
  • Engaging at C level to build relationships for strategically important enterprise and service provider accounts
  • Work closely with internal team to develop an account strategy
  • Develop strategy/plan for Upsell and Cross Sell solutions in enterprise account to maximize revenue potential


  • Candidate is expected to have minimum 6 years experience of selling IT solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Candidate is expected to have minimum 6 years experience of selling IT solutions
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical and business concepts and present them to customers
  • Should be willing to travel
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight time-lines and high client expectations
  • Prior experience of IT Security industry is a plus but not essential

Education / Experience

  • BS Computer Science (Preferred), or MBA in IT/Marketing or University degree/Equivalent
