Summary: Oracle Knowledge admin will focus day-to-day support, configuration and troubleshooting, of various Oracle knowledge applications including the Analytics. This position is based in the San Diego office and part of the OKM team and will be working on various projects.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Installation of Oracle Knowledge applications
  • Oracle Knowledge Analytics and data warehouse installation
  • Provide documentation of processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate work between the various support teams for infrastructure, database administration, and networks
  • Work in a team that provides 24/7 administrative support in production environment on a daily basis.
  • Planning and executing, test, demo, train, and deploy solutions as needed.
  • Support integrations among Oracle Service Cloud, Oracle Siebel for iConnect applications
  • Problem solving, debugging Knowledge Management related issues.
  • Working comfortably with Linux/Windows environments
  • Working in a "multi-tasking" environment
  • Occasional travel and various training sessions

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience in an IT technical support environment
  • 2-3 years of experience with Oracle Knowledge(aka InQuira)
  • Good working knowledge of Oracle Service Cloud and Knowledge Advanced configuration.
  • Experience with web server configurations (IIS, Oracle HTTP server)
  • Experience with installation of Oracle Knowledge applications
  • Experience with OBIEE and ODI is required.
  • Experience with Load balancer configurations is required
  • Experience with Weblogic Application Server and other Middleware applications is also required.
  • Experience with Database Server Installations and DBA experience is a plus
  • Experience with Linux OS installation and configuration, VMware applications, AWS and DevOps is added advantage.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or one or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
