We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to contribute to our company’s sales objectives. The responsibilities include supervising the sales team and building long-term client relationships.

As a National sales manager, one should use creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position.

As our first hire for our expansion in Japan, we are looking for an individual who aspires to develop and maintain successful relationships with large, distributed customers.


Role & Responsibilities for the Sales Manager includes

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Engage in Business Development activities to create new business opportunities for SoftClouds
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
  • Liaise with Marketing and Delivery departments to ensure brand consistency
  • Contribute to the overall global success of our company
  • Stay up to date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board

Sales Manager Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Manager
  • Familiarity selling software solutions and consulting services
  • Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to take a customer-first consultative approach to understand pain points and delivering solutions
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field

Language

Fluency in Reading / Writing / Speaking Japanese and English languages
