Twenty years ago, SoftClouds was just an idea - born from a desire to innovate, disrupt & create something meaningful. As we crossed this incredible milestone, we wanted our 20th-anniversary celebration to be more than just an event. We wanted it to be a journey - one that would take us away from the hustle of everyday work & immerse us in something bigger.
Andaman was the perfect & magical location for this retreat. A land of untouched beauty, where the ocean whispers stories of time & the golden sands remind us to leave behind footprints that matter.
As we stepped onto these wonderful islands, we weren’t just arriving at a destination; we were stepping into a shared experience - one that would deepen our bonds, push us beyond our professional identities & remind us why we started this journey in the first place.
More Than a Celebration - A Journey of Gratitude
For four days, the Andaman Islands became our home. Each day brought something new, something unexpected, something deeply human – The 4C’s – Collaboration. Connection. Compassion. Caring.
The event was a vibrant celebration of what makes SoftClouds more than just a workplace – it is a culture of #COLLABORATION, where ideas flow freely & every voice is heard. It was a place where the spirit of cheer lifted us all, no matter the challenges we faced. As we shared moments of laughter & #CONNECTION, it became clear that the bond we have is built on trust and mutual respect, growing stronger with every year.
It was also a time to reflect on the values we hold dear - #COMPASSION and #CARING for one another. Our diversity isn’t just a trait we value; it is the heartbeat of our success. We celebrate the uniqueness of everyone & it is through our varied strengths that we create something greater than the sum of our parts. At SoftClouds, we don’t just work together; we care for each other’s growth & well-being.
And as the retreat unfolded, it was clear that this celebration wasn’t just about looking back - it was about celebrating the journey we have walked together & the exciting road ahead. Our shared purpose, our values & our collective spirit are what make us who we are - and it is these elements that will continue to guide us into the future.

Ross Island – Giving Back to the World That Gives Us So Much
Success is never just about what we build – it is about the impact we leave behind.
On our third day, we traveled to Ross Island, not just as tourists, but as people with a purpose. The island, with its hauntingly beautiful ruins & serene beaches, holds echoes of history. But amidst the beauty, we saw something that needed change - plastic, waste, remnants of carelessness.
We had come to Andaman to celebrate, but we knew our journey had to mean more than that. So, as part of our #GivingMoments initiative, we dedicated the day to cleaning the beach.
It was humbling.
There is something about picking up discarded plastic from a pristine shoreline that shifts your perspective. It makes you question not just what we consume, but how we give back. With each piece of waste we removed, we weren’t just cleaning a beach - we were restoring something precious.
More than that, we were setting an example. Because real leadership isn’t about titles or power – it is about action. And in that moment, as we worked together, hands in the sand, laughter mixing with determination, we weren’t just a company celebrating 20 years.

Reflections from the Waves
As the sun began to set each day, I found myself standing by the ocean, listening to the waves. It is funny how nature has a way of making you pause, reflect & truly feel.
TWENTY YEARS.
It is easy to measure time in numbers. In milestones. In revenue & growth charts. But every evening, staring at the endless horizon, I realized that SoftClouds is not just built on achievements – it is built on our people. It is built on every challenge we overcame together. Every late-night brainstorming session. Every risk we took. Every small win that led to bigger victories.
But more than anything, it is built on belief.
The belief that innovation is not just about technology – it is about impact. That leadership is not just about direction – it is about inspiration. And that true success is not measured by what we build, but by what we give back.

Why This Journey Matters?
As we wrapped up our Andaman trip, I carried back more than just memories. I carried back a deeper understanding of what it means to lead, to grow & to stay true to our purpose.

This retreat reinforced something I have always believed - organizations succeed when they nurture the human connections within them. Seeing my colleagues as artists, performers, thinkers & change-makers reminded me that SoftClouds is more than a company – it is a community.
