Summary: SoftClouds is seeking a motivated CX Sales Consultant for the SMB Market to manage and prospect for new business opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sells a subset of Oracle products or services directly to small-and-medium sized accounts.
  • The role will begin as an Inside Sales Rep and will transition to a Field Sales Rep upon achieving proficiency in Oracle products.
  • All selling will be in conjunction with our Oracle partner salespeople.
  • The CX Sales Consultant will interact directly with Oracle Sales Representatives to handle inbound cooperation requests to identify, qualify and close new opportunities.
  • Will ultimately manage accounts throughout the entire sales process, and collaborates with internal team members in business development, engineering and pre-sales to uncover all customer needs.
  • Responsible for understanding Oracle's product offerings and competitive issues to develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application.
  • Participates in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition.
  • Remote and some onsite customer presentation with C-levels to negotiate and close strategic and complex deals.
  • Liaises with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities and maximizing sales.
  • Strong business acumen for uncovering, evaluating, growing and closing sales opportunities within a dynamic and extremely time sensitive environment.
  • Ability to manage many active accounts while simultaneously uncovering and closing new sales opportunities and gaining new customers.
  • Maintain consistent success through account planning and weekly forecasting sessions resulting in exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Experience developing and expanding upon existing customer relationships at multiple levels and across multiple functions within each organization, ability to leverage relationships to drive strong sales bookings.
  • Understanding Oracle’s integrated technology solutions including the core technology stack, CRM/CX applications software and Oracle’s SaaS, PaaS and IaaS solutions.
  • Expert in Consultative selling, Digital transformation and Business process transformation.
  • Ability to navigate complex business processes and legal requirements to negotiate contractual agreements.
  • Comfortable making onsite customer presentations to C-levels or other key decision makers to negotiate and close strategic and complex deals and/or identify/develop sales opportunities.
  • Liaise with customer contacts to manage the customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and maximizing sales.
  • Responsible for building, fostering and nurturing the Oracle channel sales relationships.
  • Some travel may be required to identify / develop sales opportunities.


  • 5+ years relevant sales experience.
  • A self-motivated individual contributor who also works well on a team as work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/ business skills in the area of specialization.
  • Highly developed selling, negotiation and customer relations skills. Successful sales track record.
  • Interaction with C-level and other key decision makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to infiltrate accounts and meet with and influence key stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to small and large audiences.
  • Willingness to travel.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent preferred.
